Bisbee, the county seat for Cochise County, is a wonderful community nestled in the Mule Mountains of south-eastern Arizona. Originally founded as a mining camp, it is now an enclave of artists, crafts people, and other free spirits. As you explore Bisbee you will find fascinating "corners" scattered among the more main-street shops scattered throughout the town.

The Bisbee Mining Museum is affialiated with the Smithsonian and is an incredible journey into the mining past. While you're in town, don't forget to take in the Copper Queen Mine tour. You won't soon forget experiencing the mine as a miner may have a hundred years ago.
